Instructions

Step 1

Decide which radio format you want to play. It should be noted that the topic of radio directly affects the amount of money spent. The simplest and most affordable option is pop radio, various hits will sound on its air without interruption. In this case, you cannot do without a good music library, high-speed Internet access, and, of course, a computer.

If you plan to broadcast conversational programs, then start by searching and creating your own studio, and also select personnel - a sound engineer and technician, 2 presenters, as well as a manager who will look for guests for the broadcast.

Step 2

To implement streaming broadcasting, use the Winamp player program. In order to download it, you do not need a special key, since it is distributed freely. It will be placed in the C: / Programm Files / Winamp folder.

Step 3

To connect Winamp to a host (a “master” device that provides Internet access), install the “edcast standalone 3.1.21.exe” program on your computer, which acts as a “local” server that connects the player to the host. You will also need to install the program “edcast winamp 3.1.18.exe” in the above “Winamp” folder, and, in addition (for working with MP files), place the file “lame enc.dll” in it (folder).

Step 4

After installing all these software tools, go directly to the process of their initialization, which will require your attention.

Having launched Winamp, click on the free space on the highlighted page, and then press Ctrl + P. In the "Plugins" folder that opens, hover over the "edcast DSP v.3 {dsp edcast dll}", then specify your sound card and stereo mixer.

Step 5

To add a connection to an external host, click "Add Encoder". After clicking on the inscription that appears on the monitor screen, the connection setting window "Configuration" will be displayed. Next, you will need to correctly fill in the 10 proposed fields.

Step 6

Then press the "YP Settings" key and fill in the 4 fields that appear. When you register on the host, do not forget to indicate your mailbox, which will receive all the information necessary for work.
