Most computer users have appreciated the convenience and ease of communication through online services. One of them, the ICQ manager, is known all over the world, so its interface can be configured in almost any world language.

Step 1
By default, most of the world famous programs are set to English. Many users customize a foreign language specifically to improve their vocabulary. However, if you have recently started using the ICQ program and have not fully understood its functions, set the Russian language in its settings.
Step 2
In order to change the language of the ICQ program, open the general list of your contacts. Find the "Menu" button on the top panel. Click it, and in the context menu that opens, select the "Settings" column, click on it with the left mouse button. You will see the "Options" window. Open the "Skins" section by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Please note what is written in the "Select language" column. By clicking on the area with an arrow, you can select the languages available to the program. If there is Russian among them, just click on it with the mouse and confirm your actions by clicking the OK button. after that you need to restart ICQ for the program to display Russian as the system language. If there is no Russian language in the list, you will need to download it from the official website of the ICQ service. Just click on the "Other languages" link for the browser to open the list of languages. Find Russian there and click on it with the mouse. The download will start automatically. Monitor the download progress on your browser. When it is completed, simply restart ICQ and the manager will start working in the language of your choice.
Step 3
To change the language in the QIP service, click on the settings button located on the top toolbar of the open contact list (usually it is displayed as a wrench). In the window that opens, you will see the grouped folders of settings - so it is more convenient to find and select the parameters you are interested in. Click on the "Interface" button. In the menu that opens, find the "Language" column. See which language is the default for your program. Click on the "Language" button with the left mouse button. You will see a list of languages available to the program. If it already contains Russian, then just click on it and the list will close. Click on the "Apply" and OK buttons to confirm your actions. If the Russian language is not in the indicated menu, then you will have to download it from the official QIP website. To do this, click on the "Download" button (in the English version Download more). You will automatically be redirected to the QIP website, and a list of available languages will open before you. By clicking on the link with the Russian language, you will automatically allow downloading the settings to the system folder of the computer, which already contains the QIP installation files. Open this folder and install the application following the prompts from the system. Then enter the settings again, select the Russian language and click OK, then restart the program. With the new launch, QIP will display Russian.
