Password recovery from your ICQ number can be done using a special system. You will only need to answer the secret question that you set when registering in ICQ. But do not forget that such a system is relevant only if you have forgotten your password. If the password is stolen, recovery will be impossible.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the website www.icq.com/password, in the fields available on the page, enter your ICQ number, as well as the answer to the secret question. Press the "Next" button, and then enter the e-mail address to which the system will then send the new password. Click on the "Submit" button. After a while, check your mailbox for a letter with ICQ data.
Step 2
Please note that password recovery is available not only through the security question. Go to the website https://www.icq.com/ru and open the section called "Password recovery" there. This site is no different from the one indicated in the first step (it's just a Russian-language version of the original). Finding it is easy: just scroll down the page and you will see a whole list of different sections. Select the one you need by simply clicking on its name. In the future, you will need to indicate your mobile phone number (or also your mailbox address). The selected number will receive a message with instructions for data recovery.
Step 3
If you have lost not the password, but the number itself, then you will not be able to recover it in any way. You will have to create a new account. To do this, you will need the same site https://www.icq.com/ru. On the main page there is a link "Registration in ICQ", click on it to fill out the form. It will contain fields such as last name, first name, date of birth, your mailbox address and gender. Make up the password for authorization as difficult as possible. This will make your account more secure. Finally, enter the code from the picture to complete the registration procedure.
Step 4
Do not forget to write down the new data in order to avoid the repeated procedure for restoring the password to the ICQ number or registering a new number later.
