Step 1
Take advantage of the free creation of an e-mail box on most mail servers on the network. Large and small portals provide services for free processing of correspondence. The most famous mail systems include yandex.ru, rambler.ru, mail.ru, etc.
Step 2
When choosing a platform on which an e-mail box will be located, be guided by the stability of a particular service, as well as such parameters as the volume of the mail box, the number of users of this resource, the presence of an agent notifying about the arrival of new correspondence.
Step 3
Determine the server used for email. This can be: - Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) - it does not imply preloading mail messages to the local computer, and mail is processed on the server; - Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) - here messages are sent to the local computer for their processing; - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) - this server is intended for outgoing mail.

Start the Windows Mail application, open the Tools menu on the top toolbar of this window.

Select the "Accounts" item, click the "Add" button. Open the "Email Account" item and click the "Next" button.

Enter a name in the Username field and click Next.

Enter your e-mail in the "E-mail address" field and confirm your choice by clicking the "Next" button.
Step 8
Select the type of e-mail server you are using from the drop-down list in the "Mail server type" line. Add the required values to the outbound and inbound server fields.
Step 9
Click the "Next" button, enter your account login and password in the corresponding field.
Step 10
Select the "Remember password" checkbox and click the "Next" button. Confirm the application of the selected changes by clicking the "Finish" button.
