Novice web designers often have a question about how to write a registration for their own website or install ready-made registration modules downloaded from the Internet. There are special ways to do this quickly.

Step 1
Decide what kind of site you want to make. You can simply choose the engine on which the module will be installed later, or create a small site with hypertext markup. According to practice, registration is necessary so that users can use any additional parameters in the site system, as well as communicate on the forum. For such a resource, you need to install a specific engine to manage all available categories.
Step 2
Install the DLE engine on the hosting by copying the necessary files to the root directory. Next, complete the installation by opening the site subsection /install.php. All files should start working immediately after installing the engine on the site. Registration is already built in here by default. Using the admin panel, you can also make some additional settings in the site system. This step is required when setting up user registration. In the absence of an engine and hosting, there is no way you can get the site to work properly.
Step 3
Check the box next to "Enable captcha" if you want to protect against automatic registrations. This feature includes various numeric and alphabetic codes that will need to be entered during registration. In case of several unsuccessful attempts to enter the IP, the user may be banned for some time.
Step 4
Search the internet and download the registration.tpl file to install the user registration module. You can create this file yourself if you are good at programming. Go to your hosting and open the templates directory. Select the default template and run it. Copy the registration.tpl file to the open directory. After saving all the changes, restart the site. If the line “Register user” appears at the top, then you have done everything correctly.
