But it may well be that you are simply typing the wrong password. In order to change the password without going to the e-mail box, it is enough just to carry out certain actions.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, go to the main page of the mail.ru website. After that, click on the "Forgot your password?" Button, which is located next to the login and password entry window. You will be redirected to the password recovery menu, where you can choose one of several password recovery options, depending on what you chose when creating the mailbox.
Step 2
If you specified a security question, you need to answer it, after which you can change your password.
Step 3
If you chose a box that is a spare, indicate it. Your password will be sent to it.
Step 4
If you indicated a telephone number by which you can be contacted, please indicate its number. You will be sent a code that you will need to enter in a special field, after which you can change your password.
Step 5
If you had a customized redirect of letters from this mailbox to another, specify it. After you specify it, you will receive your password for the mailbox that was specified for the redirect.
