Some modern providers connect clients to a common local network. This allows you to create internal resources and exchange information at a high speed. Such local networks can be accessed even over the Internet. To do this, you need to configure the correct settings for network connections.
Necessary
- - CCProxy;
- - Permeo Security Driver.
Instructions
Step 1
First, create your own proxy server. This will allow other users to connect to your computer. Install the CCproxy program. Run it and highlight the HTTP and Socks items. The first parameter is optional, but it will allow external connections to various sites in the local zone.
Step 2
Open the Network tab. Check the box next to "Socks Support" and disable the "Deny external users" option. Be sure to check if the last feature is disabled. Click the Advanced button. Find the Local IP Address field and enter the value of your external IP address.
Step 3
If you specify the value of the internal IP address, then only local users will be able to connect to you. This is usually done to connect to the Internet through an internal proxy server. You need to get the opposite effect. Please be aware that the external IP address may change periodically. Check its value after every computer restart.
Step 4
Install the Permeo Security Driver on the client computer. It will be required to redirect data through the Socks proxy server protocol. Run this utility. Specify the IP address that you entered in the "Local IP address" field of the CCproxy program as the main connection address. Be sure to make sure that the port numbers match in both programs.
Step 5
On a networked computer, open the list of active connections. Right-click on the local network icon and select the "Access" tab. Allow access to this network for all users connecting from outside. Specify the Internet connection you are using in the "Local network" field.
