Since the protection of the privacy of users on the Internet is carried out mainly with the use of passwords, the task of sending them arises quite often. The one who issues the password must pass it on to the user, users pass them on to each other, and sometimes to service providers, etc. Modern means of communication allow you to do this in many ways.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to forward your password to someone is by email. To do this, both you and the recipient must have a registered account on some paid or free mail server (mail.ru, gmail.com, etc.). In addition, many Internet providers provide subscribers with an agreement with them for free use an account on their own mail server. Find out the recipient's email address, go to your account, create a new message, enter the password in it and send it to the recipient's address.
Step 2
There is another similar option - use a messenger program (ICQ, QIP, Miranda, etc.). This method slightly increases the security of sending, since the message with the password is not stored on the mail server and therefore it is less likely to accidentally "light up" it in front of too curious looks from outsiders.
Step 3
If neither you nor the recipient have e-mail and an online messenger, then you can use free file storage services - for example, rapidshare.com, depositfiles.com, ifolder.ru, etc. Save the password in a text document and, if necessary, pack it into an archive, access to which can also be closed with a password, and then upload the file to the selected file hosting service. At the end of the procedure, you will receive a download link, which must be sent to the recipient, for example, by SMS.
Step 4
However, if you have the opportunity to communicate with the recipient via SMS messages, even if only unilaterally, then this is an even more reliable way to send a password. Its advantage is that no traces are left of the transfer procedure either on your computer, or on the network, or on the recipient's computer.
Step 5
Sending a password from a form in a web page is implemented using the form and input tags. When preparing the source code of such a page, in the action attribute of the form tag, specify the address of the script to which you want to send the password entered by the visitor, and in the method attribute - the method of sending (get or post). The choice of method depends on the method of reading variables used in the receiving script. In the type attribute of the input tag, use the value password if you need to protect the password with asterisks when entering it. If this is not needed, then you can enter the value text. Be sure to include a value for the name attribute as well. In its simplest form, the HTML code of a form with a password input field may look like this: There is no button for submitting data - it will be performed by pressing the Enter key in the password input field. The address of the receiving script is also not specified, so the password will be sent to the address of this page itself, which means that it must be a script (for example, in php) and be able to process the data sent by the post method.
