Step 2
Connect your router or router to an internet connection cable. For this purpose, there is a special port labeled WAN or Internet. Open the window for changing the settings. Usually, this requires entering in the address bar of the browser https://192.168.0.1 o
Step 3
Connect all computers and laptops of your future local network to the router. Use LAN ports for this purpose.
Step 4
Open local network settings on any computer. Find the TCP / IP parameters. Please note that on Windows 7, configure TCP / IPv4, not v6. Enter the IP address, default gateway and preferred DNS server. The IP address should differ from the router's address by only the fourth segment. And the other two IPs must be equal to the router's address.
Step 5
Enter the same settings on the rest of the computers. Please note that IP addresses must not be duplicated as this can lead to unstable network performance.
