For quite a long time, the home page of the Internet for many users was an empty document, from which every browser began its work. Later, addresses of search engines were registered as a start page in the properties of browsers. But in recent years, online home pages have been actively competing with browser-based homepages.
Instructions
Step 1
To put the start page in the Opera browser, go to the "Service" menu and select the "Settings" item. In the window that appears on the "General" tab, select from the drop-down list "At startup" - "Start from home page". In the field located just below, enter the address of the future home page. Click OK and restart your browser.
Step 2
If you are using Internet Explorer and want to install the start page or change it, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options". On the "General" tab in the special field "Home page" enter the desired address. Then click "OK" and restart the browser. The start page will load from the address you entered.
Step 3
To put the start page in Google Chrome, click on the wrench icon next to the address bar in the browser and select "Options" in the drop-down list. In the settings window that opens, in the "Initial group" field, select the "Open the following pages" option and enter their addresses in the special field below.

In addition, you can set up a start page using special Internet services. For example, you can create this custom homepage on Google and many other sites. Typically, they consist of a combination of news blocks, regional weather forecasts, hours, mail and other functions, which are accessed online directly from the open page. These start pages can be customized to your liking by bringing together those widgets that are most useful to you.
