Remote work is gaining popularity. For many, this is not just a side job, but a source of basic income. And although copywriting can be ranked among the popular Internet professions, the attitude towards copywriters is skeptical.
At first glance, copywriting is a simple and accessible profession for everyone. However, it also has its drawbacks. The main one, of which is - not to receive money for the work done. First of all, this applies to beginners.
Some customers, not wanting to pay money for the texts, go to the trick. They offer beginners to complete a small test task, ostensibly to test the literacy of the performer. Or they ask to do complex work with the keys, after which they tell the copywriter that they have recruited enough performers and, when a place will appear, they will definitely contact him.
The second problem is competition. There are a lot of copywriters on exchanges and everyone wants to be noticed by customers. There is a way out, you can set a low price, but it will not be easy to raise it. Customers won't want to pay more for the same job they get cheap.
There are other risks as well. For example, there are customers who give separate orders (1 text each), but most offer to perform large amounts of work. It is extremely unpleasant if, after a month of work, the order is not accepted or, worse, is not paid.
Those who work on exchanges are insured against such troubles. However, there you will have to look for work on your own. In addition, there will be a lot of people who want to pick up orders; they will have to withstand the competition. And what is most unpleasant, there are no clear deadlines or bosses, so if you do not know how to discipline yourself, it will not be easy for you to work.
Perhaps if copywriting were really a simple and accessible profession for everyone, offices would lose their employees. However, the disadvantages of this profession can only be noticed in the process of work.
