Step 1
If you want to install a video player on the pages of your site, you do not need to invent anything. Why reinvent the wheel when a ready-made solution has been on the web for a long time? This solution is called the video code, which is embedded into the site through html editing. But first things first.

Search video. You can find the video you want to add to your site on resources such as YouTube, RuTube and VKontakte. To do this, you just need to visit these sites and use the video search (VKontakte provides a mandatory registration procedure). After you find the video you want, find the function of copying the code "Copy code" on the video player. Having received the player code, you can place it on your website.
Step 3
If your site is built on CMS and uses a graphics editor when publishing pages, the video player insertion will look like this. Opening the menu for adding a page, switch the tab of the graphical editor from "Visual" to "HTML". Paste the code of the copied player into the field and frame it with tags. If your site is built on HTML, then you just need to paste the code anywhere on the page and also wrap it in the aforementioned tags. After preparing the publication, place a new page on your site. The video player will be installed.
