GoogleChrome is a browser developed by a well-known company Google based on the free Chromium browser (made on the WebKit engine). The browser quickly gained popularity among users due to its speed and security, as well as tight integration with Google services.
Instructions
Step 1
First, let's take a look at the scheme for adding - removing bookmarks. To add to the bookmarks of the site, you must click on the star. A small pop-up window will appear in which you will be prompted to select a folder to save and a name for the bookmark. After completing the configuration, click Finish. To delete a bookmark, go to Settings (wrench) - Bookmarks - Bookmark manager. Select the required bookmark, open the context menu and click "Delete". Alternatively, select a bookmark on the bookmarks bar, right-click and select "Delete".
Step 2
There are two ways to save bookmarks: export to HTML file or online synchronization with Google service. For the first method, do the following: open Settings - Bookmarks - Bookmarks manager. Select Organize and click Export Bookmarks to HTML File. Select a location to save the HTML file and click "Save". After reinstalling the system, go to the Bookmark Manager and, instead of exporting, select import and specify the location where the HTML file is located. Bookmarks are imported into GoogleChrome and will look the same as when saved.
Step 3
The second method was introduced by Google quite recently. It is very convenient and works in stealth mode, i.e. you don't have to turn it on every time to save bookmarks. At the first launch, the message "Not signed into Chrome" will appear on the main page of the browser. Click on the inscription, then a page with a form will open in which you will be asked to enter a login (mailbox address in the Google service) and a password from it.
Step 4
After entering the data, click "Login". Everything, now all bookmarks, history, passwords and other data will be synchronized with your Google account. Immediately after reinstalling the system, install the browser, log in, and all the data that was last synchronized will be downloaded to the browser. Which data to synchronize can be selected in the settings, on the "Personal" tab and clicking on the "Advanced" button. Enjoy your use!
