The deletion of a page on Facebook is performed using the functions of the service, however, remember that the deleted page cannot be restored. At the same time, there are methods for disabling a page that allow you to temporarily deactivate it.
Instructions
Step 1
To delete a Facebook fan page, you need to open it, then open the drop-down menu "Edit page", it is located in the line "Admin panel", and select the item "Edit settings". Please note that these steps are only possible if you are one of the admins for this fan page.
Step 2
In the settings edit window that opens, click on the "Delete page" line, this is the very last line in the list of settings. Then click on the "Permanently delete page" entry that appears and confirm the deletion by clicking on the "Delete" button.

If you just want to temporarily hide your fan page without deleting it, open the “Edit Page” drop-down menu and select “Edit Settings”. In the settings window, click on the line "Page accessibility", this is the first line in the list of settings. Check the "Unpublish this page" checkbox and click the "Save Changes" button.

If you want to delete your own page (account), it is advisable to pre-save a copy of all data on your computer. To do this, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select "Settings". Go to the "General" tab and click on the "Download a copy" line.
Step 5
In the window that opens, click the "Start creating archive" button. Please note that for this operation you will need to enter the password for your account. This will save all your messages, photos, and all basic profile information.
Step 6
After keeping a copy of your details, fill out the form to delete your page, which can be found at facebook.com/help/delete_account. In the window that opens, click the "Delete my account" button, then enter your account password and verification code. A page deleted in this way can be restored within 14 days. After this period, the page will be permanently deleted.
Step 7
Like the fan page, the personal page can be temporarily disabled, it will be temporarily unavailable to other users, and it will also not be possible to find it through the search system. To disable the page, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select "Settings".
Step 8
In the settings window, go to the "Security" tab and click on the "Deactivate account" entry, this entry is located under all the main settings. Indicate the reason why you disable your page and confirm the action by clicking the "Confirm" button.
