Web browsers store some information from the sites visited by users. These internet files are stored in the cache memory of your browser. And if you need to find temporary Internet files (for example, to copy some of them to your computer), you need to go to the browser cache.

Step 1
Temporary Internet files are stored in a folder that usually has the "hidden" attribute. Configure the display of hidden files and folders on your computer through Start → Control Panel. Go to "Folder Options" → "View". Select the Show hidden files and folders option and click OK. Now you will be able to see files and folders with the "hidden" attribute in the file system of your computer.
Step 2
If you are using the Windows Internet Explorer browser, find the Temporary Internet Files folder. The files stored in it will be temporary Internet files stored in the browser's memory.

In Internet Explorer, you can do it differently. With your browser open, click on the "gear" icon at the top right of the page. Select Internet Options → General → Browsing History → Options. In the parameters window, click the "Show files" inscription and find the file you need among the list that opens.
Step 4
For the Mozilla Firefox browser, find the C: Users folder on your computer Username AppDataLocalMozillaProfilesxxxxx.default. Instead of xxxxx, any letters and numbers can be found, but the folder itself will be one, it contains the files saved by the browser.

Another way for Mozilla Firefox is to enter “about: cache“(without quotes) into the address bar of your browser. The “Information about the Cach Service” page will open, select “Disk cache divice“→ “Cache Directory“. The path to the cache files will be indicated there, copy it. Open Windows Explorer. Paste the copied value into the address line, press Enter. A list of files will open. This is the browser cache.
Step 6
In the Opera browser, select the path to the folder with temporary Internet files, depending on which operating system is installed on your computer. For Windows XP, the path would be C: Documents and Settings Username Local SettingsApplication DataOperaOperacachesesn. For Windows 7 - C: Users Username AppDataLocalOperaOperacachesesn.
