If the information posted on one of the resources does not suit you or in some way offends you, and attempts to contact the site administrators remain unsuccessful, you can directly contact the hosting provider. To find out the company that provides hosting services to this resource, just use any of the whois services.
Instructions
Step 1
Whois allows you to get information about a registered domain. The service will display information about the owner of the name, his contact information and NS, to which the resource is linked.
Step 2
Go to any of the resources that allow you to find out information about the domain owner. To do this, open a browser window and enter a whois query in any search engine. Some of the more popular services are whois-service and whois.net. Also, some webmasters insert a validation form into their site.
Step 3
Enter the address of the resource whose hosting you want to find out, press the Enter key or the OK button. The screen will display information about the domain that the owner specified during registration. The nserver line specifies the NS used to bind the address to the server. This data belongs to the company. If nserver looks like ns1.hosting.ru, the second part of the hosting.ru address will point to the name of the provider.
Step 4
Enter the received address into the address bar of your browser and you will be redirected to the hoster's website.
Step 5
If whois lists NS addresses that do not directly indicate the organization on whose servers the site is located, you can use the IP address you are using. Sometimes it is displayed in the line to the right of the nserver name, but often the service simply does not show this data. To get an IP, go to the Windows start menu. In the program search bar, enter cmd and launch the console.
Step 6
Enter the following command: ping nsaddress NSAddress is the site address specified in the nserver field. Copy the displayed IP, then go to the domaintools resource and paste the resulting value. The owner of the IP will be displayed, which directly indicates the name of the hosting provider.
