Marital status "Vkontakte" is an option that allows you to indicate the status of your relationship with a person. The developers provide several possible options for marital status: in an active search, there is a friend (girlfriend), engaged (a), married (married), not married (not married), everything is complicated. In all points, except for the points "not married" and "in active search", you can specify with whom exactly from the users of the social network you have established this type of relationship.

Instructions
Step 1
Log in to your Vkontakte page using your username and password.
Step 2
Find the line "Edit page" under your photo and select this item. You will be presented with a window for editing the data that you specified in your profile.

Select the "General" tab. At this point, you can indicate your date of birth, family ties with other users, religious, political views, place of birth and, what is important for us now, marital status.

In the window to the right of the inscription "Marital status" select one of the above items.

In the event that you have chosen an option other than the options "in active search" and "not married" ("not married"), you will have the opportunity to additionally choose a person whose name will cost you in "marital status". To do this, click the pointer on the window located to the right of the one in which you selected the type of marital status. You will be presented with a list of all users of the opposite gender. Choose the one you want. Click the Save button.
Step 6
Your new marital status will take effect after the user of your choice confirms that you are in such a relationship. He can do this by performing operations similar to those described above. In the event that you did not select a user from the list, the changes will take effect completely immediately.
