If you are an active user of the VKontakte social network, you probably have many friends, subscribers and topics for discussion there. Over time, too much chat history accumulates in the Messages tab. Then it becomes necessary to partially or completely remove mail dialogs.
Instructions
Step 1
Open any internet browser and log into your social network profile. To do this, you need to enter your username and password on the main page that opens. In the vertical menu to the left of the photo, click on the "My Messages" tab.
Step 2
You will see a list of received messages. In the upper left part of the page there is a line in which you need to select the messages that you are going to delete: "All", "Read" or "New". Click with the mouse on one of the items (for example, "All"). Three buttons will automatically appear on the right: “Delete”, “Mark as read”, “Mark as new”. Click on "Delete", and you will completely delete the marked messages on the open page. By doing the same with other pages, you can clear the entire list.
Step 3
To selectively clean up mail, check the boxes next to individual messages and delete them. Don't forget about the following pages as well.
Step 4
If there is a need to delete the correspondence with a specific contact, you can use this method. In the list, find any message from this person and click on the link containing the text of the user's message. At the bottom of the page that opens, find the line "Show message history from …". Click on it with your mouse. The "Message History" will open. On the right, find the words "Show All". Click on it and it will be converted to "Delete All". Click on the line. In the dialog box that opens, confirm the deletion. This way, you get rid of all the messages of this contact.
