Website promotion is necessary to increase the number of its visitors. There are many methods of promotion, however, it is undesirable to use a considerable part of them - for this the site may end up on the "black list".

Step 1
Use keywords wisely. Create a list of keywords using the simple WordTracker service. Enter a phrase that matches the description of your website or the service it provides as closely as possible. Click on Proceed. You will see a list of possible combinations of keywords on this topic, as well as the popularity of the query for each of them. Run keywords through AltaVista to find out the number of sites that respond to the same queries.
Step 2
Enter the resulting data into an Excel spreadsheet in three columns, where the first is the key phrase, the second is the popularity of the query, and the third is the number of competing sites. Enter in the fourth column the formula = IF (C20, B2 ^ 2 / C2 * 1000, 0 and extend it to the end of the table. Sort the results in descending order and use whichever keywords are most effective. Find a balance between a large and a small number of key phrases in text - if you go too far with them, your site will be blacklisted by the search engine. Do not use methods such as placing the text of key phrases in the same color as the background of the site - this will also lead to a bad result.
Step 3
Use contextual advertising, for example, Google Adwords. Choose those key phrases that are most effective and use them. Be sure to set the option "strict compliance", otherwise your site will not get your target audience. In this case, you will pay for referrals, but you will not receive clients, which is not very profitable.
Step 4
Order articles on popular blogs and indexed social networks, as well as on forums and sites of similar topics. Be sure to evaluate the platform where information about your site will be posted before entering into an agreement and make sure that it looks quite aesthetically pleasing.
Step 5
Use viral ads. Create a video, website page, or standalone site that has no meaning other than entertainment. Be sure to include a link to your main website. The more interesting and original the idea is, the faster and better the promotion of your site will be.
