In order to insert messages from Twitter to your website or blog, you can use special tools for webmasters. At the same time, Twitter allows you to post on its resource both individual tweets and the entire activity feed.
Placing a Twitter activity feed on your personal blog lets your readers know that you are using this social network. This, in turn, provides additional opportunities to communicate with your audience.
Messages from Twitter can be inserted either into a separate post or into a sidebar. Depending on the organization of the site or the design of the template you are using, the message feed can be almost anywhere.
The encoded widget is html-code. By placing it on the site, you will receive the same interactive version of the public feed as on Twitter itself. Site visitors will be able to follow you, repost your tweets, add them to favorites, reply to you and write a message without leaving the site.
How to post your Twitter feed to Blogger
First you need to create the html code. To do this, go to your Twitter account, then select the "Settings" section (located in the submenu of the gear icon). In the column on the left, under the avatar, you need to select the line "Widgets". Now click the Create New button. A new page will open. Select the type of feed you want to place: for example, "User Feed". If desired, you can additionally customize it: change the theme, link color and height. By default, your login will be entered in the "Username" field. Then click the "Create Widget" button. A window with html code will appear. Copy this code (Ctlr and C buttons at the same time). Now you can insert it into your blog.
Log in to your blog on Blogger. Go to the "Design" subsection, then in the top, side or bottom panel, click the "Add gadget" link. Select from the provided list of HTML / JavaScript gadgets and paste the code text into the window (Ctrl + V). Click the Save button.
How to post a feed from Twitter to Wordpress
In Wordpress blog format, it is possible to add a widget inside the post or in the side column.
You can paste the copied widget code into a separate blog post using Text mode.
You can place not the entire feed, but a separate message. To do this, in the lower right corner of each tweet, there is an option "Post Tweet"
Also, the widget can be placed in the sidebar. To do this, go to the Wordpress console, then in the "Appearance" section, select the "Widgets" item. Add a new widget called "Text" to the sidebar by pasting the copied code into it.
In some cases it may be necessary to redesign the sidebar.php file because it controls all the widgets in the site's sidebar. If this is difficult for you, then you can use some plugins by installing them on the site: Recent Tweets, Rotating Tweets, MP Tweet List, miniTwitter.
