After installing and setting up an account in Ucoz, the user proceeds to create his own website. First, most webmasters set the design for the site header, which determines the structure of the future resource. To create a high-quality website title, you can take advantage of the numerous features of the designer.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the "Control Panel" site in the section "Design Management". In the General Templates subcategory, open the CSS Style Sheet. On the page that appears, you will see a list of the templates used and the code that is responsible for the design.
Step 2
Go to the line that starts with.header. It creates a pseudo-class that defines the design of the entire top of your site. To change the header, you need to edit this particular code.
Step 3
To change the background of the header, in the found line, you will need to change the background url parameter (‘address_to_the_picture_file’). Copy the address in parentheses without quotes and add it to your website address in the browser window. So, if your resource has the address site.ucoz.ru, and the picture was located at.s / u / 111 / 1.png, you will need to enter the following query in the address bar of the browser:
Site.ucoz.ru/.s/u/111/1.png
After entering this sequence, press Enter.
Step 4
Save the resulting file and modify it in any graphics editor (Photoshop, GIMP). You can change the background, set a different design style using the tools and functions of the program. Without changing the size of the picture, save it on your computer under any name (for example, head.png) with the same extension.
Step 5
In the Ucoz editor window, go to the "File manager" section and upload the resulting image to any available folder by clicking on the "Browse" button and then "Upload file".
Step 6
Go back to the CSS editor page and provide the URL to your newly uploaded header file. For example, if you saved an image called head.png

Click on the "Save" button. The creation of a custom header file on the site is now complete.
