A podcast is one of the many ways you can blog your blog. The only difference from the standard writing of posts on your page is the presence of an audio recording of the content of your post (without the presence of the text itself). It's easy enough to run a podcast within your blog.
It is necessary
Personal website, microphone, Audacity software
Instructions
Step 1
This word is absolutely new for many Internet users. This is not surprising, since it is formed from the two foreign words iPod and broadcast. Everything is very simple, initially it was assumed that the user of the iPod player downloads podcasts from the Internet and listens freely anywhere. As you might expect, the idea of creating podcasts does not belong to any company, it originated with the American Adam Carrie. Recently, as a podcast, they also began to define not only audio, but also video.
Step 2
The scheme for creating a podcast is as simple as one-two-three:
- Coming up with the text of the podcast;
- you record it through a special Internet service;
- insert a link to a recently created podcast on your blog page.
Step 3
Among the many programs designed for recording voice from a microphone, it is recommended to give preference to the program Audacity. After installing this program, do not forget to download the mp3 codec from the Internet, preferably Lame. Now you just have to read the text of your podcast in front of the microphone, not forgetting to press the record button. Please note, it is better to make several entries, because on the first recording, the voice is always restless.
Step 4
After recording and checking the sound quality of your podcast, go to the page of any service that hosts podcast files on their server. The second most popular at the moment is the podcast from Podfm.ru. This service has an excellent appearance, which will certainly attract a large number of listeners to your speeches.
Step 5
On the Podfm page, you need to upload an audio file (no more than 100 Mb) and select the type of link that you will post on your blog:
- Livejournal (LJ);
- Liveinternet (LiRu);
- Wordpress;
- HTML (any type of blog other than all of the above).
Then post it to your blog and enjoy the podcast you've created.
