Instructions
Step 1
It should be noted right away that information banners are divided into two types: some appear only after the operating system is launched, and others when the browser is opened. Let's start by blocking the second type of banner.
Step 2
The easiest way is to completely remove the browser in which the informer appears. In this case, you risk losing all cookies and bookmarks. If this option does not suit you, then open your browser settings. Find the "Add-ons" or "Plugins" menu. Remove any apps you didn't install.
Step 3
If we are talking about the Opera browser, then you need to manually delete several files. Open the Program Files / Opera / program / plugins directory. It should contain two files with the dll extension: npwmsdrm.dll and npdsplay.dll. If you find other files of this extension, then delete them.
Step 4
Now look in the / Documents and Settings / Account Name / Application Data / Opera / Opera / profile folder. Remove all files with js extension except browser.js.
Step 5
Now let's consider the situation when a banner appears directly on the desktop. Open any working browser and go to the site https://freedrweb.com. Find Dr. Web CureIt on this page and download it. Install the utility
Step 6
Scan the local disk partition on which Windows is installed. If the program finds virus files, delete them and restart your computer.
Step 7
If the above method did not work, then remove the malicious files yourself. Open the System32 folder located in the Windows directory. Find all files with names ending in lib.dll and delete them.
Step 8
Download CCLeaner and install it. After starting the application, activate the analysis of the registry files. Click the "Fix" button after the scan is complete. Reboot your computer.
