Thanks to the World Wide Web, you can find out a lot of information about a person. In part, users recklessly themselves put it on public display in various social networks and online diaries. Curious website owners can also extract data from you that you did not intend to share at all: computer model, operating system, host country, as well as name and email address. To protect yourself, you need to skillfully hide your tracks on the Internet.
Step 2
Filter the information that you provide about yourself on social networks. Registration in them assumes that you will share a mass of information with those around you: graduated educational institutions, place of residence, favorite bars, cafes and hairdressers. However, not only your former classmates can read this data. An attacker who knows your address and has read the status that you have left for your dacha costs nothing to visit you. A similar situation can happen if you wrote in a blog that you are flying to Turkey, and in your profile you have a link to your social network account where your place of residence is marked.
Step 3
In order to prevent attackers from getting your data when visiting various sites, use the Anonymizer service. To do this, you need to go to this service and enter a link to the site that you intend to visit there. Following the generated link, the trail is not left by you, but by the service used. Cookies are not stored with you. Any unwanted information will not reach the administrators of the page you are viewing.

You can also use a proxy server for anonymous surfing the net. The essence of the server operation is similar to that of the anonymizer, however, the history of visits to sites is saved on the computer.
