There are two methods for entering a license key into the free Avast! Antivirus application. Free Antivirus version 6.x. The first involves the use of an Internet connection, the second is offline.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the context menu of the Avast! Free Antivirus on the taskbar by right-clicking and selecting Registration Information. Click on the Register Now button in the registration window that opens and select Register at the bottom of the next product comparison comparison dialog box. Fill in the fields marked with an asterisk in the new dialog box and click on the Register for free license button. Confirm the execution of the selected action by clicking on the OK button in the next dialog box of the program and wait for the registration status to change on the corresponding page.
Step 2
If for some reason it is not possible to use online registration, go to the Avast! Registration form page. Free Antivirus on a computer with Internet access. Alternatively, open the context menu of the application icon on the taskbar by right-clicking and selecting the Registration Information item. Use the Register form button at the bottom of the dialog box that opens and wait for the required form to automatically open in the browser you are using.
Step 3
Fill in all the fields marked with an asterisk in the next dialog box and click on the Register free license button. Wait for the message about successful completion of the registration process to appear and exit the browser. Find the letters containing the license key in the e-mail messages and transfer the obtained data to the desired computer. Select the key data and open the context menu by clicking the right mouse button. Specify the "Copy" command and wait for the automatic opening of the registration form.
Step 4
Use the Insert the license key button at the bottom of the window and paste the saved value into the corresponding field of the new dialog box. Save the changes made by clicking on the OK button in the new dialog box, and wait for the status change in the registration form window.
