The need for DNS registration arises when, during the delegation of the domain, the names of the servers on which it will be parked were not specified, or it is required to transfer the domain from the registrar to the hosting. In any case, you need to specify the DNS manually on the registrar's website.

Step 1
To temporarily park a domain, you need to find out the DNS names on the site where it will be carried out. Such a service can be provided even without hosting, just for the domain to be delegated. The names of servers for parking will look like n1.name of valet.ru and n2.name of valet.ru. They must be memorized or copied.
Step 2
If you transfer your domain to hosting, you will need to find out the DNS names provided by this hosting. They will look like this: ns1.hostingname.ru and ns2.hostingname.ru. They should also be remembered.
Step 3
In the control panel or personal account, you need to find the service "DNS Server Management" or "Delegation". This can usually be done in the window where the list of all registered domains is presented.
Step 4
For the stable functioning of the domain, you must specify at least two DNS in the specially designated fields. Opposite the field for entering DNS is the field for the IP address of the DNS server. This field is filled in if the DNS is located in the same domain for which it is being registered. For the domain mysite.ru, for example, the DNS servers ns1 / mysite.ru and ns1 / mysite.ru will be specified. In this case, the IP addresses must be different.
Step 5
DNS servers for international domains (net, com, org, etc.) must be registered in the international NSI Registry database. In the absence of such registration, they cannot be indicated and it is impossible to use them. DNS server IP addresses for international domains do not need to be specified.
Step 6
After specifying DNS servers, you can transfer the domain to hosting. To do this, on the website of the company hosting the custom site, you need to find a domain transfer service and use it. This operation usually takes a long time (up to 72 hours), after which the site will be accessible by the domain name attached to it.
Step 7
In order to use the registrar's DNS servers, it is usually enough to check the box next to the corresponding item. DNS registrar can be provided free of charge or on a paid basis.
