When a computer is connected to any network, it is assigned a specific IP address. Since a completely real person is hiding behind the computer, it is the IP address that is used to search for the passport data of the user who caused you any harm.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have an urgent need to find this person, first determine the value of his IP address. To do this, calculate which resources are most often visited by the owner of the IP address, and write an appeal to the administration service. On various forums, this will be a moderator, to whom be sure to justify the reasons why you need to find out the IP address of one of the participants. In online games, you need to send a letter to the server administrator, where you also justify the reasons for your request for the IP address. Or use various utilities designed specifically for this online game.
Step 2
Having learned the value of the IP-address, determine the host through which the owner of the computer got in touch. It can be either an Internet service provider or a proxy server program that masks network users. In any of these cases, use one of the sites that identify providers and proxy servers, and enter the IP address in the appropriate box. All existing information about the host will appear on the screen.
Step 3
If the communication site is identified as an Internet provider, find its e-mail address in the list of company data and write a letter. In this letter, tell us about the damage that the owner of the IP-address caused you, provide evidence and ask to send the passport details of the offender.
Step 4
When defining a communication site as a proxy server, the situation will become much more complicated, since employees of those companies that provide proxy programs for accessing the network do not have the right to disclose the anonymity of their clients. In this case, contact the law enforcement authorities, where you can confirm the validity of your statement, that is, provide the data that indicate damage caused to you or illegal actions against you.
