Site administrators and owners, as a rule, leave visitors the opportunity for feedback. To make the coordinates for sending letters easy to find, they are often left at the bottom of the page or in a special section. Sometimes on sites you can find feedback forms. But how to find the owner of the site, who did not want to leave their coordinates?
It is necessary
- - Name of the site;
- - a computer;
- - access to the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
There are several services on the Internet with the help of which you can find the owner of the site who has not left his contacts on the resource itself. To go to one of the sites with a similar service, type in the phrase "whois service" in the search bar. In the search results, you will see a list of resources that provide the ability to search for site owners on the Internet. The name of the whois service comes from the English phrase "who is", which literally translates as "who is" or, otherwise, just "who". Information about resource owners can also be found on sites that allow you to check if a domain name is free.
Step 2
Go to one of the whois sites. Choose for yourself which resource is more convenient for you to work with. They all provide the same capabilities. This is not to say that one of them gives more information about the site owners than the other. Such services allow you to find site owners in most large domain zones.
Step 3
Every whois site has a search bar. To get information about the owner of the site, type the address of the resource you are looking for into the search box on the site with the service. The site address must be entered as shown in the sample. Typically, the address format is listed below or next to the search bar. After typing in the address of the resource, press the search button in the site interface or the Enter button on the computer keyboard.
Step 4
In response, you will receive information about the owner of the site, which he indicated when registering the domain. Sometimes, when registering a domain, site owners hide information about themselves. If the site owner wished to remain anonymous, you can only see the inscription "Private Person". However, the e-mail for which the domain is registered, as a rule, remains in the public domain. By writing to this email address, you can find the owner of the site. Unfortunately, not all site owners provide a valid and working email address. If the site owner did not hide information about himself, then you will also be shown the name of the resource administrator (admin name), the name of the organization that manages the domain (admin organization), the address of the domain administrator (starting from the line admin street1 to the line admin country), and also the phone number of the site owner (admin phone).
