With the help of statuses on the Vkontakte website, users express their emotional state, write their favorite quotes, place advertisements. Sometimes you just need to make the text a column - for example, if you want to place a poem you like.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to correct the settings and make the text a column, you must have "Opera" installed, and not the last eleventh version, since the browser developers have already closed access to this function. You can download Opera from the official website of the developer opera.com or from a file hosting service. Start the installation of the program, accept the user agreement, configure the settings you need and complete the installation.
Step 2
Go to the Vkontakte website using your new browser. Now you need to open the source code of the page. To do this, right-click anywhere on the page (but not on the link) and select "Source Text" in the menu that opens. This operation can also be done by simultaneously pressing the CTRL and U keys on the keyboard.
Step 3
You need to find a part of the original text that will need to be replaced in order for the status to be in a column. To do this, write in the search field.
Step 4
Once you have found the piece of text you were looking for, delete it and write the following instead:. In order not to be mistaken, use the copy-paste function. To do this, select the text, right-click on it and select "Copy" from the menu. Once on the source page, do the same, but instead of Copy, click Paste. You can also do this using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V.
Step 5
Now you can write status using Enter to move to a new line. Since earlier this key allowed saving the status, and now it does not perform this function, left-click anywhere on the page - your status will be saved.
