Recently, some PC users began to notice that the Internet Explorer series browsers built into the Windows shell automatically close before they even had time to load the start page.
This problem occurs due to damage to the browser program files, to fix which it is necessary to restore them or reset the utility settings to the "Default" value. Close all browser windows as well as File Explorer. Click the Start menu and open Control Panel.
In the window that opens, double-click the left mouse button on the "Internet Options" icon. Go to the Advanced tab, then click the Reset button. In the "Reset parameters" window that appears, click the corresponding button. Close the browser settings window by clicking OK or pressing Enter. Restart your browser for the changes to take effect.
If this method did not fix the problem, use the uninstall and then a new installation of the browser. To do this, use the Add or Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel. Please note that Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Vista cannot be uninstalled. it is built-in.
Alternatively, a new browser installation can be performed using System Component Management. Before proceeding with the task, shut down absolutely all programs (except utilities running in the background). Open Control Panel and from the Programs menu select Turn Windows Features On or Off.
Among the components provided, uncheck the items that contain Internet Explorer and click the "Yes" button. In the window that opens, click the "OK" button to remove the browser and restart the computer.
Run "Turn Windows features on or off" again from the Programs menu. This time, check the boxes containing Internet Explorer and click the "Yes" button. After clicking on the "OK" button, you can start working with the browser.
