Instructions
Step 1
You can connect a mobile computer to the World Wide Web through a smartphone in two common ways. You can use your usual cable connection or BlueTooth channel. The first option has an obvious advantage: most phones are capable of charging via a USB cable. Select the program through which you will synchronize your laptop with your smartphone.
Step 2
Usually, these programs are available on the official websites of mobile phone manufacturers. Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson have created very similar utilities called the PC Suite. Download a suitable program and install it.
Step 3
Restart your computer and start PC Suite. Connect your smartphone to your laptop using a specific cable format. Wait while the running program detects the mobile phone.
Step 4
Make sure your smartphone is connected to the internet. To do this, launch the built-in browser and try to open an arbitrary web page. Return to the PC Suite Utility. Open the "Internet Connection" menu and click the "Configure" button.
Step 5
Fill in the menu that opens. Specify the connection parameters recommended by your cellular operator. Click the Connect button and wait while the phone connects to the server. Open an internet browser on your laptop and test your internet connection.
Step 6
If you want to use the BlueTooth channel, then enable this function in the smartphone settings. Make sure the machine is accessible for connecting external devices. Search for BlueTooth devices from your laptop and connect to your smartphone. Start PC Suite and wait for the connection to be established. Repeat the Internet setup procedure and connect to the network. Check the battery level of your smartphone periodically.
