Blocking a selected individual or group of IP addresses on the network requires the involvement of additional software. The most convenient tool for solving this problem is considered to be the use of firewalls.

- - Kaspersky CRYSTAL;
- - Outpost Security Suite Pro.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the Kaspersky PURE application on your computer. Run the installed application and go to the "My Computer Protection" panel in the main application window. Open the "Settings" menu of the upper service panel of the opened dialog box.
Step 2
Select the "Firewall" item in the "Protection" group on the left side of the next dialog box and apply the checkbox to the "Enable Firewall" field on the right. Click the "Settings" button and go to the "Filter Rules" tab of the new dialog box. Use the "Add" link and apply the checkbox in the "Addresses from group" line of another window.
Step 3
Click the Add button and type the name of the blocked IP address in the corresponding line of the network addresses dialog box. Enter the value of this address in the next window of the application and confirm your choice by clicking the OK button. Check the "Block" checkbox in the "Action" section in the new window and select the Any Network Activity option in the "Network Service" drop-down list.
Step 4
Confirm saving the changes by clicking OK and apply them again by clicking the same button in the last dialog box.
Step 5
Download and install on your computer another program that will block the selected IP address - Outpost Security Suite Pro. Run the application and open the "Settings" menu of the upper service panel.
Step 6
Expand the Firewall node in the left directory of the dialog box that opens and select the IP Block command. Apply the checkbox to the "Enable IP Blocking" box in the right pane and click the "Edit" button.
Step 7
Type the required address in the corresponding line of the next dialog box and use the "Add" button. Confirm your choice by clicking OK in the new dialog and repeat the same action in the preferences window to apply the changes.
