But not a single quest in the official version of the game allows you to achieve this position: all the thrones of the Jarls are occupied, and it is impossible to overthrow or kill them.

The jarl will find out about your affairs and the next time during a dialogue with him he will offer the title of a thana, provide a personal bodyguard - huscarl and advise you to buy a house. For example, there were rumors that after completing all the tasks of the Night Mother after completing the main quest of the Dark Brotherhood, you can get the coveted title. How to become a Jarl?
There is only one way to become a Jarl in Skyrim - with the help of unofficial mods for the game. Another mod allows you to become a jarl of the city of Ivarstead that already exists in the game, for this you need to go through a long, but exciting quest. After receiving the coveted throne, you can take up the management of the city and the castle: punish residents, keep order, throw parties in the palace.
