Java games are applications that can be played on mobile devices, but with the advent of special software, it became possible to enjoy such games on a personal computer.
Java games have been particularly popular recently. Java is supported by modern phones as well, but different technologies are used today to play games on new phones. Java games are casual games that practically do not have any special plot, excellent graphics, and so on. Some users of personal computers, perhaps, may wonder how to play Java games and, fortunately, the answer to this question exists.
Installing the emulator
Today there are many opportunities to play Java games on a personal computer. All are based on the use of special Java emulators. Java game emulators allow you to play all games that support this technology. It should be noted that when choosing one or another emulator for Java games, you should pay attention to updates. It depends on them whether the game will work well, and whether the emulator will run on your operating system at all. An important aspect is the interface of the emulators (although in most cases it is quite simple). In order to play Java games, you can download and install the KEmulator emulator. After you find it and download it, you need to unzip all the information into a separate folder and run the executable file (KEmulator.exe).
Changing settings and launching a Java game
After launching the executable file, a new window will open. Before starting a particular Java game, you must first go to the settings ("View" and then, "Options"). On the initial tab, the user can select the model of the phone for which the game was made. This can be done in the "Device Select" item. Of course, as in most modern games, the user can set his own resolution values (the "Screen Width" and "Screen Height" fields). The rest of the parameters can be left unchanged. To change the control parameters, you can go to the "KeyMap" tab.
In order to start the game, you need to go to the "Midlet" menu and select the "Load jar" item there. A new window will open in which the user will have to directly select the game he wants to play. In order to stop or continue the game, you also need to go to the "Midlet" tab and then select "Suspend" or "Resume", respectively. In addition, the functionality of the program includes the creation of screenshots of the game itself, as well as video recording.
