The electronic money system WebMoney is attentive to the safety of its customers and their funds. Therefore, when changing user data, losing access to the file of keys and wallets, as well as in case of losing the password, the system offers to restore access to the service through the password recovery service.
It is necessary
- - password (the one you remember);
- - e-mail address that was specified during registration;
- - active phone number that was specified during registration;
- - the answer to the secret question (favorite number, your mother's maiden name, etc.);
- - passport number and code.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch the WebMoney Keeper program. Click on the button "Can't log into your account?". It will take you to the access recovery service menu. Depending on the situation, choose one of the answer options. They can be: "You forgot your password and cannot remember it in any way" or "Previously, the password was suitable, but now it does not work." The first answer should be chosen if you are sure that the activation problem is in the forgotten password, and you have a key and wallet file, a valid version of Keeper and a login. The second answer should be chosen by those who are not completely sure that the password is incorrect and want to verify this.
Step 2
Take the opportunity to log into your account through the E-num service if you chose the second answer. The system will offer this method as a priority in case of problems with activation. It will allow you to understand whether you really forgot your password, or just made a mistake while typing. To do this, you will need the email address that was provided during registration. After you enter the address, an SMS with a variable login code will be sent to your phone number, which must be entered in the appropriate field.
Step 3
Follow the link provided in the password recovery service if you chose the first answer or could not enter through the E-num service. You will be taken to the official WebMoney user support site. You will see instructions on how to recover your password. The system will ask about the most acceptable way for you to gain access to your account. So, if you still have access to the phone number specified during registration, the service will send a code to it, which will be required to send a new password. It will also be your new password.
Step 4
Use the personal data initialization system if you do not have access to the phone number. The system will ask for the passport number and code, full name and the answer to the secret question. After entering this data, WebMoney, after verification, will send a response to your email address. The letter, among other things, will contain a new password for your account.
