If you decide to create your own website on the Internet and promote it, you just need to have objective information about its traffic. This is necessary in order to analyze the traffic to your site and resolve issues of its further promotion. You can find out the number of visitors on the site by installing an attendance counter on it.

Step 1
Open liveinternet.ru in your browser and click on the "Get a counter" link in the upper left corner of the site.
Step 2
Complete registration and confirm your mailing address.
Step 3
Log in to your personal account using your website address and the password that you set during registration.
Step 4
At the bottom of the page, click on the link "counter html-code" and after clicking on the link select the type of counter you like the most. If necessary, select additional settings that are at the bottom of the page and click on the button "get the html-code of the counter".

Copy the code generated in the window in full and save it in a notepad so that you do not need to configure everything in your personal account each time.

Enter the received code into the html-code of your website pages. If you are using a CMS, you can paste this code into widgets or into the html-code of the installed theme, and then you do not have to paste the code into the pages of your site every time.
Step 7
After you have installed the counter code on your site, you can see how many visitors per day you had on your site, for what requests they found your site and from which search engine they came to you.
Step 8
In order to see statistics, enter your personal account, and you will see a scale of visits to your site for the current day, as well as for other days, if you need it. Also, statistics will show you the difference in website traffic compared to the previous day.
Step 9
If you have multiple sites and want to view statistics for all at once, you need to install the group counter code on these sites.
Step 10
Follow the link https://www.liveinternet.ru/add?type=account, register on the site and indicate in the "Address" field a link to one of your sites.
Step 11
Then do everything in the same way as when registering a named meter, but instead of the code for named meters, set a new group counter code.
