Step 1
You can clear the history or completely disable the storage of history in the browser by following a few simple steps. They will depend on which browser you are using. For Internet Explorer, open the Tools menu. Next, click on "Internet Options" and the "General" tab. To clear the history, click on the button with the corresponding name. And to disable the storage function, put the value "0" in front of the "How many days to keep links" field. Exit the menu by clicking OK.
Step 2
Users working with the Mozilla Firefox browser should open the "Tools" menu and select the "Options" item. Here you will see the "Privacy" field, click on it. In the list that appears, select the "History" item and find the "Clear" button. To refuse to store history, set the value of the "Store history at least" parameter to "0". Don't forget to click on the OK button.

In the Safari browser, use the History column, which is located in the top menu. Click Clear History.
Step 4
If you are working with Google Chrome, click on the "Settings" button (it is shown as a wrench). Then select the "History" item. In it, click the command "Change elements" and you will see the necessary button "Delete data on viewed pages".

It is not at all necessary to clear history directly through the browser. You can go to "Start", select the "Control Panel" column and click on the folder called "Internet Options". In the window that appears, use the "General" section, and in it open your browsing history.
Step 6
To erase your browsing history, click Delete. By the way, you can also clear fields such as Cookies, Temporary Internet Files, Web Form Data, History and Passwords. It should be noted that deletion of information is possible both individually and at once from all the listed folders. To do this, at the bottom of the window, click on the "Delete all" button.
