Connecting to the Internet via a satellite dish is becoming more and more popular and widespread in our country. Most satellite TV companies have already introduced Internet connectivity as an add-on or ancillary service. It is not difficult to explain such popularity: satellite Internet has a lot of advantages, which are becoming more obvious every year.

Instructions
Step 1
One of the main advantages of satellite Internet is its availability. At any point in the satellite coverage area, you can easily connect to the Internet through the "dish". This is true even in places where cable or telephone lines have never been installed. The second big advantage of this type of connection is the high data transfer rate at a very reasonable price per 1 megabyte of traffic. The only complication is that the satellite Internet needs a terrestrial channel to transmit the return data from the user. For this purpose, GPRS, ADSL and even dial-up can be used.
Step 2
To connect to the Internet via satellite, you will need a satellite dish itself, a cable, a DVB receiver, a DVB card for a computer, a converter and a bracket. You will also need F-connectors, which are used to connect the cable to the converters. If you plan to install and wire the cymbal completely yourself, take care of the heat shrinkage for insulating the F-connector cable and the anchors for attaching the cymbal bracket.
Step 3
The DVB receiver needs to be properly tuned to the satellite. First of all, a terrestrial channel is configured depending on the specifics of its connection and the requirements of the provider. The DVB-card is inserted into any free slot of the computer, then the necessary drivers are installed from the included installation disk.
Step 4
The specifics of installing and configuring drivers are described in detail in the attached instructions. Therefore, you just have to carefully follow all the steps described. After installing the drivers, you need to create a new network connection through the "Start" - "Settings" - "Network Connections" menu. You will also need the GlobaX program, which can be downloaded from the Internet. If you find it too difficult to do it yourself, it is better to ask a satellite equipment dealer.
Step 5
At first glance, connecting and configuring satellite Internet looks quite complicated, but in reality, if you follow the attached instructions exactly, then everything is quite clear and fast. In addition, most sellers of satellite equipment today prefer to install it themselves. At the same time, as an additional service, they provide complete equipment customization. It is enough to mention this moment separately when concluding a service contract before the departure of the masters.
