The problem of Russification of Internet browsers for many users remains, perhaps, the main problem. This is especially true of the Opera browser, new versions of which are often released without the Russian language. Step 1
Open your browser and in the menu bar located at the top of the window, find the Tools section. He is usually the penultimate one on the list.

Open the Tools section and select the Preferences menu.

In this menu, select the Language section, most likely it will be at the very bottom of the drop-down list. Then press the "Select" button and in the window that appears, click on "Russian (ru)".

Click "OK" and everything will be Russified automatically. If for some reason this did not happen, do not panic, just restart your browser.

Lazy users can not search the menu screen, but use the Ctrl + F12 key combination, select the Select Language function in the window that opens, and then, by analogy, select "Russian (ru)". Do not forget to click the "OK" button. If the browser is not automatically Russified, restart it.

Some users are confused by the absence of the Russian language in the list of proposed languages. There are several solutions to this problem. First, check which version of Opera you downloaded. Russian language is almost always absent in Alpha and Beta. Just download and install any stable version of the program. If your computer has a stable version, for example, version 11, the problem is also solvable, although it will be a little more difficult. Open the program folder of the previously installed version of "Opera", go to the Locale subfolder and copy the "RU" folder from there to the corresponding folder of the new version. Next, launch the browser, open the "Properties" menu, where select the settings menu. In the main tab, at the very bottom there will be a "Language" menu, where you should click the "Settings" button, in the "Languages" window that opens, specify the copied folder. Click "OK" twice and that's it. All main functions will be in Russian, only new functions added to the browser will remain untranslated.
