For "Android"
Owners of mobile phones based on "Android" for thematic adaptation of the application should do the following:
- click on the "little man" icon in the lower right corner of the screen, and this will be followed by a transition to your profile;
- in the upper right part of the screen, you need to select the context menu in the form of three-line text, where you need to click on "Settings" (gear icon);
- in the list of options it is necessary to find the subheading "Account" and already there select the name "Language";
- after the system unloads an extensive list on the screen, you can hammer the word "Russian" in the search bar (with a magnifying glass icon) to minimize time;
- after a match found by the system, confirm this parameter.
For iPhone
For iPhone owners operating on the iOS platform, to make changes to the language settings of Instagram on their mobile device, follow these guidelines:
- first you need to open the corresponding application on your phone;
- in it you should find a symbol (in the lower right corner of the screen) in the form of a user avatar and click on it;
- in the Instagram account that appears, you need to call the context menu by clicking on the icon in the profile in the form of three lines of text (located in the upper and right parts of the phone screen);
- from the list of options highlighted in the context menu, select the line with the name Setting;
- in the appeared list of interface configurations, select the name Language;
- after that, a list of different language options will appear on the screen, in which you need to find a line with the inscription "Russian, Russian" and click on it.
After these steps, the procedure for changing the language from English to Russian can be considered complete. It should be noted that there are cases when users choose "Russian" as the default language, and this option does not work as expected. Then you need to install exactly "Russian, Russian". If this procedure was not successful either, then it is recommended to reboot the phone and reinstall Instagram.
