Films with subtitles will help make watching a movie more comfortable for people with hearing impairments, enjoy the original voices of foreign actors, and improve their knowledge of a foreign language.
Instructions
Step 1
The way you watch movies with subtitles depends on the format of the movie and the process in which the subtitles were overlaid on the image. If the movie and the text are "glued", then the subtitles will automatically start playing along with the video track, it will be impossible to turn them off. This video format is played by almost all players on computers, however, for a home theater, viewing may not be available.
Step 2
Most often, a film is accompanied by a subtitle folder, in which the text can be translated into different languages. Check if the folder contains SRT, SUB, or TXT resolution files. This is what subtitles are. If there are several such shortcuts, you can select the subtitle language. It will be indicated in the file name, or you will have to open each file at random until you find the translation you want.
Step 3
As a rule, video players have the same subtitle connection algorithm. Media Player Classic, GOM Video, VLC Media Player and others have a Subtitle column in the Toolbar or inside the View tab. Click on it during movie playback and check the box next to the "Enable subtitles" request.
Step 4
Then select the command "Find subtitles" and, using the Explorer, specify the path to the folder with subtitles. Click on the desired file and click "OK". If the test is poorly visible against the background of the video, set the external characteristics of color, size and volume in the "Subtitles" folder.
Step 5
To play video with subtitles in Winamp player put the entire movie folder in the playlist, not just the video file. The easiest way to do this is to right-click on the folder containing the movie and subtitle file and select the Play in Winamp command.
Step 6
If you are using KMPlayer, during video playback, right-click anywhere on the screen and select Subtitles - Open Subtitles. Set the path to the test file using Explorer, click on its shortcut.
Step 7
If the subtitles do not open, open the context menu of the program again by right-clicking on the screen area. In the "Subtitles" column, select "Show / Hide Subtitles" and check the box next to it.
