Twitter is a free instant messaging service that is gaining in popularity these days. Twitter users can exchange messages (tweets) no longer than 140 characters. In addition, you can use Twitter to share interesting links and photos with your friends.
To post an interesting picture or your own photo to Twitter, you need to use the services of a third-party site. Unlike social networks "Vkontakte" or "Facebook", the functionality of "Twitter" is limited exclusively to text messages. However, there is nothing to worry about, because the sister website "Twitpic" will come to your rescue.
Twitter account holders automatically receive an account on twitpic.com, a website created specifically for storing photographs. Type the website address in the browser line. In the right corner of the page, you will see a blue button that says "Create an account or login". After clicking on this button, you will be prompted to log in with your Twitter account.
After logging into the site, you will see a form for uploading a photo in front of you. First, you need to select a photo file stored on your computer. Click on the "Browse" button and select a photo. In the field below, you can enter a description of the photo or any comment that you want to accompany your post. Then you can optionally mark the place where the picture was taken. Check the Share to Twitter box. Click on the Upload button.
If you have done all the above steps correctly, your message with a photo will appear on Twitter. This message can either be made public, that is, visible to all users, or sent in a closed form to a specific addressee.
