Multitracker refers to the simultaneous distribution of the same torrent on several trackers. This allows you to merge peers and increase the upload speed accordingly. It is worth noting that there are trackers that are specifically configured for this mode, and there are, on the contrary, those that do not support it at all.
Instructions
Step 1
To create a multitracker distribution, you first of all need a special program. It could be, for example, makeTorrent. Download it and install it on your computer. Once launched, go to the Settings tab.
Step 2
First, create a list of private trackers for your distribution (private ones are those that accept multitrack torrenting). Therefore, you have to fill in some fields. In the Name column, which is highlighted in green, indicate the name of the site, and enter the torrent ad address in the Announce URL field, it is marked in red. But the address of the tracker itself must be inserted into the Website URL column.
Step 3
Then click on the Add button, which allows you to add the tracker you need to the program database. You can add other addresses in the same way. After creating a list of the most used trackers, remember to save it. To do this, click Save Now.
Step 4
Go to the Create Torrent tab (ie "Create Torrent") and click on the Classic button. To create a torrent with several files, select the dir field, and to download a single file, use the file column. In the Tracker menu, paste the announce tracker URL. Be sure to check the box next to the box titled Use Backup Tracker (s).
Step 5
Mark the tracker you are interested in and add it to the list by clicking the Add button. Repeat this step if you need to add more than one piece. Click OK. Use the Create torrent now! Command to create a torrent.
Step 6
In the program window, open the View / Edit Torrent menu, click on "…" and download the same torrent that you have just created and uploaded to the tracker. Don't forget to check if you've checked the Backup option.
Step 7
Replace the Announce URL of the previously specified tracker with the one where you want to place the torrent. Save the result using the Save As … command or just Save. Upload the torrent to the tracker and you can start uploading.
