Someone changes the avatar according to their mood, and someone saves the selected picture for years. And this is in itself a characteristic of the user. Show me your avatar and I'll tell you who you are today.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a picture for your avatar. Pictures can be found online or create your own drawing. An image with a minimum size of 15 * 15px can be selected for the avatar. The maximum size allowed is 64 * 64px.
Step 2
It is possible to use an animated image for the avatar. Keep in mind, however, that when the size of the picture is reduced to an acceptable limit, the animation properties may be lost.
Step 3
If the dimensions of the image selected for the avatar do not meet the conditions, correct them using any graphic editor. In the menu item of the graphical editor "Image" select the sub-item "Image dimensions" and set the desired values for the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the picture. Save your changes.
Step 4
Run the QIP program if it does not automatically start when you turn on the computer. There are a number of icons under the top line with user data. Click on the last icon with the English letter i.
Step 5
The "Show / Change My Details" window will open. On the left, there is a field for the user's avatar. You will see your avatar or no icon message if the field is empty. There are two inscriptions under the window for the avatar: "Load icon" and "Remove icon". Left-clicking on the "Load Icon" button will open a browse window. Specify the path to the selected picture and upload it. Save the change by clicking on the "Save" inscription in the lower right corner of the "Show / change my data" window.
Step 6
To replace the picture, click the "Remove icon" under the avatar. The image will be deleted. Reload the new image from step 2. Save your changes. Close the Show / Change My Details window.
Step 7
Correspondents will see your avatar when they open the line with your name. For information about your readiness or unwillingness to communicate, use the setting of the status picture in the list of users.
