Communication in various social networks and chats through special programs is not always in the nature of entertainment. Sometimes users exchange important information necessary for their work, and accidental deletion of correspondence becomes a serious problem.
Instructions
Step 1
Easy Recovery is used to recover all lost or inaccessible data from your computer. Download this program from any source and unzip it. Then install on a disk different from where the ICQ program is located. Typically, ICQ is stored on drive C.
Step 2
Run Easy Recovery with administrative rights. In the partition tree, select the C drive and start the scanning process. To do this, click on the "Scan" function in the program control panel.
Step 3
At the end of the scanning process, under the C drive partition, you will see a list of information locations. Select from the presented options addresses with type C: / Program Files / QIP / Users … and your account number with the ending “/ History”. To do this, check the boxes in front of them.
Step 4
Click on the Recovery function and define the path to save the selected messages. Click on Ok and check the result when the save process is complete.
Step 5
Sometimes the loss of correspondence occurs when the username is changed. However, in this case, it is automatically saved on the hard disk in the directory where the ICQ program itself is located. To view the correspondence, open drive C and find the History section in the ICQ program folder.
Step 6
One of the features of the icq2html program is to restore message history. If you want to get back accidentally deleted correspondence, download the program and open it on your computer. Check the box next to the "Recover Deleted" option and click on the "Import" link.
Step 7
Select the files with the UIN name and dbf extension in their names and start the process of restoring the ICQ message history. After a while, the deleted files will be restored.
