In an effort to diversify the lives of its users, the developers of the social network Facebook have released a new profile interface called Timeline. It not only rearranges user events in chronological order, but also offers a lot of interesting possibilities.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to go to this Facebook profile, you need to activate it. Download any web browser and enter facebook.com/ about / timeline in the address field. In the window that opens, find the Get key and click on it. When the welcome page appears on the screen, you will see two buttons at the top left corner - Take a tour (pre-try for 7 days) and Publish now (use right now). Choose any of the options and click on the corresponding link.
Step 2
Your profile will change to Timeline, and to complete the transition to this interface, you should do its additional settings. If you are not satisfied with the main profile picture or want to add a new one, right-click on the photo. In the list of functions that opens, click on the desired one - Add a cover (add) or Change cover (change).
Step 3
To change any period in your life, find the timeline on the right side of the page. Since Timeline displays all information - photos or statuses - like a collage placed vertically, go down the year bar if you want to remove a photo from the distant past. To clarify the events of two days ago, go up accordingly to the list of months. Click on the desired date and the page will open all the photos, applications and friends that were present at that time. Click on the handle icon in the upper right corner of the event and select the Change date function. There you will also see the Hide from Timeline function. Click on it if you want to make this element invisible in the profile.
Step 4
You can not only change the event, but also add it - click on the ruler stretching in the center of the page. A form with empty cells will appear in front of you. Enter the required event information and click Save if you want to save it to your profile.
