Sometimes, due to the complete rejection of the use of email, some users need to deactivate their mail. This may be due to the registration of a new email address with another postal service or for some other reason. This option is rarely used. If you nevertheless decide that mail will no longer be useful to you, you can turn it off.
Necessary
Deactivation of the option "Use email address" in the Google system
Instructions
Step 1
When registering an e-mail in the Google system, a large number of add-ons are automatically attached to your profile. For example, all available add-ons can be viewed on your account page (google.com/dashboard). Therefore, disabling mail from Google entails deactivating your account in all add-ons.
Step 2
There is an option such as the "Disable Service Option" that allows you to completely disable the email account for your domain. In order to find this parameter, you need to do the following: open the "Service settings" tab, select "Email". In the e-mail settings window that opens, open the "General" tab.
Step 3
Scroll down to the bottom of the list, the "Service Disable Option" section.
Step 4
In order to completely disable mail, you must click the "Disable email" button. This will open a new page containing a description of the consequences of disabling your email. When reading this material, carefully read all the consequences. Decide whether or not you should actually disable your email service.
Step 5
Make a selection by clicking on one of the buttons:
- Yes, disable the email service. The parameter change will take effect within 30 minutes;
- No, do not stop the email service.
After that click "Save Changes".
