Instructions

Step 1

In order to manage blocks on pages, you do not always need to enter the control panel. Go to your website and log in using a login with administrator rights. The mini-site dashboard appears. From the Design menu, choose Enable Design. Wait for the page to change.

Step 2

Find, among others, the "Search" block and just click on the "Delete" button (it looks like a cross). The search box will disappear from the page. From the Design menu, choose Save Changes. If you do not automatically switch to normal view, in the same menu "Constructor" click on the item "Disable Constructor".

Step 3

If in the future you need to return the "Search" block to the site, re-enter design mode. In the menu of the same name, select the "Add block" command. Initially, it has no name. Drag it to the place where the search engine window should be located, while holding down the left mouse button. When the block is in the desired location, release the mouse button. Additional control buttons will appear.

Step 4

Click on the "Change" button in the form of a gear - a new dialog box "Manage the contents of the block" will open. Click on the Site elements icon. On the "Content" tab, left-click on the "Site Search" icon. On the HTML tab, the $ SEARCH_FORM $ statement will be automatically written.

Step 5

Give a new name to the newly created block (Find, Search, Find, and so on). To do this, move the cursor to the inscription "New block" and double-click on it with the left mouse button. When the field becomes editable, enter the desired name. To exit this mode, click anywhere on the page outside the editable field. Do not forget to save your changes by choosing the appropriate command from the Design menu.
