Adding videos to the site has recently become very relevant. Almost every second site on the network has video materials. So how do you post a video on your website?

Step 1
Use the RuTube service
In order to use it, you must first register there. Walk on link and fill in the forms with all the required data

After registration is complete, click on the Download Video link at the top left of the screen.

Fill out a short form with a description of your video, its category, and select the file from your computer that you want to download. To do this, use the "Browse" button. The file must not be more than 300 MB.

Click the "Download" button. After the file has finished downloading, you need to wait a while. After refreshing the page, click on the video image. A window will appear in which you can see what happened. The main thing here is to pick up the player code and the link in order to place the video on your site in the future.

Copy the player code and paste it into your site. If the instructions are followed correctly, a player with a video file should appear.

Use the YouTube service

Then click on the "Add Video" link in the upper right corner.

A form will appear where, by clicking on the "Browse" button, you can upload a video file from your computer. The size of such a file should not exceed 1 GB.

After uploading, wait for a while for the video to convert to the desired format.

Next, at the top of the site, click on your username (under which you registered), select "My Video", then click on the video image. In the upper corner, find and copy the html-code of the player, then paste it into the site.

Use the Uppod site
This method differs markedly from the previous ones. The video will be stored on your site. It will also be possible to decide on the styles of the player, create your own playlists, etc.

After that, create three folders at the root of your site: styles, video and player.

Download the player file from the link in the upper left corner of the service.

Unpack the downloaded archive, take the uppod.swf file and copy it to the player folder on the site.

Log into your account, go to the "My Player" tab and click on the "Video" link. Create a style and upload it to the server in the styles folder.

Then you need to upload a video file to the video folder. Go to the "Files" section and add a video with the link, title and style. And finally, to get the code, go to the "File" submenu by clicking on the video, select the "Code" section and copy it.
