There is never enough news. Another question is that sometimes there are too many of them to such an extent that the essence of what is happening is lost behind advertising messages and unnecessary comments. How can you disable the news feed on the social network, in the browser and in the CMS?
Instructions
Step 1
To remove unnecessary news or comments on social networks, you will have to deposit some amount to the site's account. This will provide you with VIP status for a certain period, after which you will have to fund your account. If you are worried that your site visitors may not see your answers to questions in My World, go to the What's New section, click on the blue pencil and remove the labels. Then save your changes and refresh the page.
Step 2
If Internet Explorer 7 or lower is installed on your computer, select "Service" in its line, then go to "Internet Options" and click on the "Advanced" tab. Find the line "Allow third-party browser extensions" and uncheck the box.
Step 3
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 and higher and want to disable news on your site, go to the admin section. In the "Configuration" section, follow the link "News channels". Set the Enable General News Feed option to Off.
Step 4
If you have an Opera browser, enter its menu, then select the "News" section, then refer to the "News management" item and disable the mailing list. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, enter the menu, select "Bookmarks". Find the item "News feed", right-click on it and delete.
